The hd Sub12 is a very compact, easy to carry and powerful subwoofer in bass reflex tuning. The specially designed 12″ long excursion chassis with 3″ voice coil and single surround allows a large linear excursion.
A través de una ventilación en el núcleo del polo, el desarrollo de calor de la bobina se disipa de manera óptima. Por lo tanto, es posible una alta capacidad de manejo de potencia continua de 400W/800W. El menor desarrollo de calor también significa mayor confiabilidad y menor estrés térmico en la bobina móvil. Con crossover activo de 24 dB/octava hasta máx. 160 Hz garantiza las mejores transiciones posibles entre el subwoofer y el altavoz superior.
El recinto está hecho de madera multiplexada de alta calidad y pintado resistente a rayones, impactos e intemperie con un acabado texturizado fino. Dos asas de transporte ergonómicas en la parte superior garantizan un manejo ligero. La parte frontal del altavoz está protegida por una rejilla de acero recubierta de acero inoxidable con espuma acústica pegada internamente.
Un inserto roscado M20 en la parte superior de la caja permite llevar una barra de distancia. Además, cuatro pies de goma resistentes a la abrasión en la parte inferior garantizan una base segura. El panel trasero empotrado tiene dos conectores NL4 Speakon y se utiliza para conectar y enrutar la señal de entrada a otros altavoces. La caja está disponible bajo pedido en colores RAL y como versión de instalación sin tiradores y rosca M20.

Through a ventilation at the pole core, the heat development of the coil is optimally dissipated. Therefore, a high continuous power handling capacity of 400W / 800W is possible. The lower heat development also means increased reliability and reduced thermal stress on the voice coil. Excellent dynamics and dry bass reproduction at incredible pressure is the result. The necessary filtering is done by Harmonic Design system amplifiers. With active crossover of 24 dB/octave up to max. 160 Hz ensures the best possible transitions between subwoofer and top speaker.
The enclosure is made of high-quality multiplex wood and painted scratch, impact and weather resistant with a fine textured finish. Two ergonomic transport handles on the top ensure a light handling. The front of the loudspeaker is protected by a rustproof, coated steel grille with internally glued acoustic foam. An M20 threaded insert on the top of the case allows to carry a distance rod. In addition, four abrasion-resistant rubber feet on the underside ensure a secure footing. The recessed rear panel has two NL4 Speakon jacks and is used to connect and route the input signal to other speakers. The enclosure is available on request in RAL colors and as an installation version without handles and M20 thread.
Operation is as a slave subwoofer on the active hd P12stereo system subwoofer or on all Harmonic Design system amplifiers to ensure reliable and accurate low-frequency reproduction.
